Horror comedy can be fun when it balances suspense, humor, and originality. But Bhoot Bangla ends up feeling more like a mix of things we have already watched before rather than offering something fresh.

One of the biggest issues with the film is how familiar many scenes feel. While watching, there were multiple moments that instantly reminded me of Bhool Bhulaiyaa style setups and horror comedy beats. The spooky mansion atmosphere, dramatic reveals, and certain comic timings create a sense of déjà vu instead of excitement. Inspiration is common in cinema, but here some scenes feel too close in energy and execution to ignore.

The comedy also does not land consistently. A lot of jokes rely on unnecessary mature humor that feels inserted just to get quick laughs. Instead of making the story sharper or characters more memorable, those moments often interrupt the flow. Some scenes could have worked better with cleaner writing and situational comedy.

Another weak point is the VFX. Horror films depend heavily on visuals to create tension and immersion, but the effects here look unfinished in several places. Rather than adding fear or mystery, the visual effects occasionally pull you out of the experience and make the scenes feel less convincing.

Performance-wise, the cast tries to carry the film, but the screenplay does not give enough strong moments to leave a lasting impact.

Overall, Bhoot Bangla had the setup for an entertaining horror comedy but ends up feeling repetitive, uneven in humor, and underwhelming visually.
